Hi! My name is Jenna Freeze and I am a second grade teacher at Jackson Park Elementary. I am so excited to be at this wonderful school! After graduating from Appalachian State University in 2007, I began my teaching career in the Rowan-Salisbury School System at Mt. Ulla Elementary. I have taught both first and second grades for 10 1/2 years. I taught my first year in third grade here at Jackson Park Elementary, and have been in second grade the past 5 years. I am looking forward to another great year in second grade!

Educational Background:  I attended Appalachian State University where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. In 2012, I applied for and received my National Board Certification. I have lived in Rowan County for most of my life. We just recently moved to Kannapolis where I live with my husband, Ben, my daughter Elizabeth, and my son Noah.

Educational Philosophy:  I believe that every child deserves a chance to achieve their personal best. I believe that as their teacher, my job is to provide every child with a quality education that prepares them for their future in the 21st century.
